Midlane Park Baptist Church

The Wednesday night fellowship meals are canceled for the next four weeks.  These dates include Wednesday April 23, Wednesday April 30, Wednesday May 4 and Wednesday May 14.  Please make note of this change in schedule.  The changes will also be listed in the weekly bulletin.

After a wonderful weekend of celebrating the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we look forward to serving our risen Savior in the coming weeks and months.  Just a few announcements:

1. Wednesday evening, we will have our regularly scheduled activities.  Our potluck fellowship meal at 6:00 pm and out Bible study at 6:45 pm.  Also, our choir will begin their practice at 7:40 pm.
2. Another reminder - Pastor Dwayne will be teaching the two winning Sunday School classes of the March Sunday School Madness event this Sunday in the Fellowship Hall.  Congratulations to our winners!!

As far as future announcements are concerned, be sure to mark out Saturday April 28th on your calendars for our next community service project!

I wanted to post our weekend services in celebration of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

• Friday April 6 @ 6:30 pm - Good Friday Service
• Sunday April 8 @ 7:30 am - Sunrise Service (in sanctuary due to cold weather)
• Sunday April 8 @ 10:30 am - Easter Musical presented by choir. NO SUNDAY SCHOOL and SPECIAL SERVICE TIME!!

Due to the snow/ice, the condition of secondary roads, and the condition of the parking lot at church, all morning services will be cancelled this Sunday.  I trust that each of you will have a blessed Lord’s Day worship at home.

I trust that this post finds each of you well and in the service of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ.  Here are some announcements that you need to be aware of.

1. This Sunday at 5:30 pm, the February Deacon’s Meeting will be held in the conference room.
2. This Sunday at 6:30 pm, we will conclude our study of John’s Letters.
3. Sunday February 11, after the morning worship service, the Meador family will be hosting a luncheon to raise money for the McCreary County Extreme Build.  Please mark your calendars so that you may attend this special event to benefit a project that several of our church members will be working on this summer.
4. Be on the look out for a special Sunday School event in the month of March!
